Pará, Amazon Rainforest, Brazil • CEPOTX Cooperative Member Farm
Santa Anna Fazenda is a cacao farm in the Amazon rainforest of Pará, Brazil, introduced to Agroverse by Jedielcio of the CEPOTX cooperative. We conducted our first site visit on 30 August 2026, walking the farm's cacao groves, fermentation boxes, and drying shed to verify the regenerative practices behind its beans.
The farm operates a full post-harvest chain on site — cacao grown under the rainforest canopy, fermented in wooden boxes, and dried in a ventilated shed — so quality is controlled from pod to bag. As a CEPOTX member farm, Santa Anna benefits from the cooperative's knowledge sharing, quality systems, and market access that support small-scale regenerative farmers across Pará.
Our visit confirmed healthy pod development directly on the trunks of mature trees, active fermentation of the current harvest, and clean drying practices. Santa Anna represents exactly the kind of agroforestry we want to support: premium cacao that preserves and enhances the rainforest while providing a sustainable livelihood for the farming family.
