Welcome to Episode 11 of Bean to Bliss. Previously, we explored how cacao was slowly drying under the sun. In this episode, we visit another facility in the rainforest to see how cacao is processed before it's shipped to the USA.
We are here at the loading area where cacao is handled. This is the roasting facility, and over here is the machine for roasting. We roll the cacao beans here. Let me show you a 3D view. You can see this is part of the photo-roasting process.
I'm curious about all of this, and I know you're great at explaining cacao. I'm also a person who loves the ceremonial breakout. It's coming right up, no sugar added, just pure cacao goodness.
