Hey, this is Bean to Bliss, Episode 12. Previously, we explored how cacao nibs were created, as well as some ceremonial-grade cacao. Today, we'll finally bring the cacao nibs across the US border.

I'm right now in São Paulo, getting ready for the border crossing on Friday. I've got all the documents prepared. Last week, we finalized the cargo before it heads to the other side of the border, and we got our inventory properly packaged.

Okay, I'm checking the luggage into United Airlines. Oh, excess baggage fee, 100 USD. Wow, man, that's a lot. Now, we're at the US border customs. I think the luggage is out. It's my turn to cross the border. I've been coming to the US for 13 years total, so I’ll just declare everything as usual.

We got through the testing, and we officially cleared customs. Ha ha ha! It's finally in the US.
