Alright, it’s about 7 o’clock right now. Let’s see. Oh wow, there’s a rainbow over there. Ah, it’s a sign from the universe. I guess the journey officially begins. I hope Michael Jackson is watching over us.

I’m a little bit nervous, but the rainbow makes it feel less bad. I’ve finally arrived. I’m not that famous at the port, but I’m just a few pounds away from my destination. After much fumbling around, I managed to get myself into a taxi with this driver. Yeah, thanks for the company. Perfect. Alright, thanks for driving. Bye bye.

I guess it’s time to try and settle in. Riding around kind of gives you a little cool vibe, you know. You go faster, but I can’t taste my bike. It’s not cool. Checking the luggage isn’t really cool either. No way.

But, here I am in Ilhéus, or close to it. In the last minutes, this bus ride felt like a nightmare, just like being stuck in a tiny space. You’re impossible, bus, just impossible. Let me out now. I’ve finally arrived in the hotel country. So, I managed to get my luggage off the bus. Yeah, that’s it.
