Cracking fresh cacao pods in the field (video & transcript)

Right now, I think this is the moment. I’ll be okay to just meet up at a better time. I have to break into the hard part of the cacao pod, but I can’t do it like that. Let me try again. You can see inside, it’s cracked. It doesn’t have any damage, though.

I’m very hungry, and I’m on the other side of the field. Is this enough? Yes, yes, it is. I have to do it here as long as I’m on the ground. So, like, the pod is cracked, right? You have to split it in half. It’s getting tricky!
